Ecosystems of the Mind - 2 classes with Instructor John Bucher
Objectives:
• Set a context for powerful conversations that facilitate client’s ability to move between the big picture of where the client is heading and where to client wishes to go.
• Promote client’s self-discipline without proving resistance using storytelling.
• Develop a specific plan with related time frames and intended priorities.
• Develop client’s ability to make decisions, address key concerns and the ability to reflect on and learn from experiences.


Ecosystems of the Mind: Building a Better Story
In Building A Better Story, coaches will explore various symbols of nature in pathways to meaning. Coaches will learn how to guide clients in mapping out their own personal ecosystems, reframing their approach in managing stress, work, and life. This course focuses on creating a tool for understanding how the various elements in a client’s ecosystem work holistically together in their life.

Ecosystems of the Mind: Mastering the Metaphor
In Mastering the Metaphor, coaches will dive deeper into specific ecosystem elements, learning how to weave the natural world into a client’s story. This course focuses on crafting metaphor-based questions to raise awareness, provoke insight, and prompt clients to articulate the nuances of their inner journey.

John Bucher
John Bucher helps Hollywood tell better stories. John is a highly acclaimed story consultant, communicator, mythologist and storyteller based out of Los Angeles, California. He has worked with companies including HBO, DC Comics, The History Channel, A24 Films, The John Maxwell Leadership Foundation and served as a consultant and writer for numerous film, television, and Virtual Reality projects.
John also serves as Content Curator for the Joseph Campbell Foundation, advancing understanding of the Hero’s Journey® and spends much of his time as an author, podcaster, and speaker.
He is the author of six books including the best-selling Storytelling for Virtual Reality, named by BookAuthority as one of the best storytelling books of all time. Disruptor named him one of the top 25 influencers in Virtual Reality.
John teaches writing and story courses in the Los Angeles area and around the world. He holds a PhD in Mythology and Depth Psychology and has spoken on 5 continents about using the power of story and myth to reframe how individuals, organizations, cultures, and nations are viewed.
