The Comprehensive Well-Being Coaching Certification prepares trainees to become health and wellness coaches in any setting. What makes our approach distinctive from other health and wellness programs is our application of the coaching core competencies through the lens of storytelling. Trainees will learn how to use the step-by-step coaching process using the playful and imaginative Hero’s Journey® Change Model designed to ignite clients intrinsic motivation.

Introduction to Raconteur Coaching

Trainees will explore the power of storytelling with Dr. Joesph Campbell and Dr. Julie Elledge. In addition, they will be introduced to PCC coaching markers and how to set a session agreement and facilitate client growth.

Financial Well-Being, Ethics, and Coaching Engagement

Trainees explore financial mindsets, ethics, and coaching agreements in order to create successful coaching partnerships that honor both the coach and the client.

Hero’s Journey® Change Model

Trainees will learn how to partner with clients using storytelling methods combined with the coaching structure to develop a coaching plan. The Hero’s Journey® Change Model is complete with stage specific coaching tools and techniques to help clients smoothly transition through the change process.

Nature Immersion

Trainees will learn somatic and story-based nature coaching techniques that can be used in any environment ranging from public lands to parks or urban locations.

  • Schedule: Thursdays 7/7 – 8/4

Story Quest Walks

Trainees learn how to use natural elements to raise clients’ emotional tolerance along with using ancient and modern storytelling techniques to overcome their resistance unlocking creativity.

Storytelling for Coaches

Trainees will advance their storytelling coaching techniques to enter into clients’ story and identify themes, patterns and positively reshape their thinking, feeling, and behavior.

Heal: The Award Winning Documentary

Trainees will learn cinema coaching techniques to facilitate learning and ways to reframe clients’ health and wellness journey. From the award-winning documentary, HEAL, trainees will engage in a vicarious scientific and spiritual journey where individuals discover that by changing one’s perceptions, the human body can heal itself from dis-ease.
